OSV Fellowships & Grants 2026

The O’Shaughnessy Fellowships & Grants program unites the world’s most bold and undiscovered researchers, builders, and creatives from all over the world to discover, build, and spread path-breaking ideas.

Inspired by Francis Bacon's The New Atlantis, OSV is looking to support the modern day Merchants of Light with Fellowships of $100,000 and Grants of $10,000.

Awardees are creating synthetic cells, saving dying languages, building homes for homeless children, researching biological machinery to stop aging, making sci-fi films, designing novel roses that don't exist in nature, launching the New Yorker for the Spanish speaking world, building anti-recording devices, creating global #1 viral songs, building mechanical hands for amputees, storing data in plants and much much more.
